Typeface development

It’s been hard to get hold of James a lot of the time and with his work at hand so I had to run and get these images from his draw downstairs in Graphics. The typeface he’d previously been working on hadn’t had the same effect but was looking towards the soft and child like premise. I’m sure James too will expand on his work with the typeface that he has worked on just as the other parts of the team as he specialises within this area.
The typeface that we all agreed on however came about very interestingly over some sweets that James gets and use to get as a child. The typeface fits the style of the animation as well as fitting the idea of the whole animation is about. It was very exciting to see the typeface start coming together and at least see where it was starting to head with James now taking it into Illustrator and extending the art work further.
