Lovely lovely lovely

Three amazingly lovely videos,
A beautiful piece of animation, by three graduated students from the University of the arts Taiwan; it just shows how you can produce so much more better stuff as a collaboration. Amazing little narrative and beautiful artwork, in a ‘Studio Ghibli’ style but with their own little touch! I’d love to make animations like this….
“The main character of little girl in the story confronts a robbery and strays from the road she is familiar with. After passing a hedge, she enters an unknown world and unfolds a magical adventure depending on senses other than vision and her imagination. With soft and cute colors as the main key, we used simple designs to depict the little girls’ imaginary world.”

A short film, made by Nokia for their E7 success campaign. I think it’s been well edited and great sense of perspective, with an interesting story to tell and kind of close to home for myself, or atleast I know what he says about HK!
“The video follows, amongst the high rise apartments of Hong Kong, the product designer Michael Leung, founder and creative director of HK Honey, an organization of Hong Kong beekeepers, artists & designers who aim to communicate the value of bees to the human food chain & the benefits of locally produced honey. With a network of bee farms and a design studio, Michael and HK Honey harvest local honey & design products and services relating to urban beekeeping.”

Great idea, great execution by DDB Paris created for Voyages SNCF, a French travel company.
“the “Escape Machine”, a simple black cube with a red button that is activated when someone is brave enough to get to close.
The cube starts by asking where the person would like to go and after this answer and push the button the cube produces a crazy celebration with fireworks, lights and all a arsenal of strange giant lips. Offering in the end to this brave person a “Escape Ticket”.”
